Courtland Gardens provides expert long-term and short-term care in a homelike setting, supported by a well-trained staff dedicated to enriching the quality of life for residents in a cozy, compassionate atmosphere. Today, Courtland Gardens is a 151-bed center. It is one of a very few nursing homes with a doctor on staff and on-site. Our team of medical professionals also includes licensed nurses and certified geriatric nursing assistants. In addition, our experts work with a resident's personal physician according to the resident's wishes.

Because Courtland Gardens is part of LifeBridge Health, there is a continuum of care in place for every stage of treatment. Jewish Convalescent is right down the road from Northwest Hospital, one of the most prestigious hospitals in the Baltimore area, if the need arises for quick critical-care treatment.

We are only the third registered Eden Alternative center in Maryland, and the journey to become a Neighborhood Model is well underway. Both of these philosophies put the wishes and desires of our residents at the center of everything that we do.

We also emphasize family involvement. Children, grandchildren, siblings and friends are welcome to visit every day and to celebrate special occasions with their loved ones.
